The quiet breeze and the silent hum…

The mist and the moonlight…

Sometimes dusk brings better visibility… I guess..

Aren’t things clearer in hindsight?

You come to me when my eyes are closed…

And ask me when I will find you…

I gaze up and the stars reflect to me eternity…

And I realise something we both know to be true.

You and I have always been here, together, right from the start…

How do I find you when you never left me…

Where do I look, when we’ve never been apart?

Dancing through eons…

It’s been us… we’ve been here..

Through heartbreaks and embraces…

and glory and disgraces..

and hiding and seeking and looking and finding…

…and losing.

So how do I search and where do I begin..

With your whispers in my ears …

and through the waiting and the silence..

How do I lose myself in you completely, how do I let you win?

You’re somehow just beyond my grasp..

And yet you’re within me and all around me,

Who is the seeker and who is being sought,

when we both have been inseparable and always will be..

Infinity behind us and eternity before us…

Our indestructible transience is why this universe was born..

And so shall we go on dancing through ages..

Meeting, and parting, and together, and lovelorn

We are playmates in this never-ending saga

Time can’t contain us, and we are beyond causality..

I enjoy this togetherness, as I rejoice this longing..

After all aren’t they the two forms of the same reality?

Looking for myself through you,

What a quest.. what a joy ..what bliss

And so it goes… night after night…

Sleeping with your thoughts and waking with your kiss…

And as all this dawns on me, I can’t help smiling when I answer you…

Yes.. we’re together, but,  I’ll look for you again tonight…

Even so… it’s peace where once my heart was restive,

The mist and the moonlight…

They can’t conceal the truth’s might!
